The site extends to circa 1.1 hectares (2.7 acres) and comprises relatively flat managed agricultural land which is rectangular in shape. The site is bounded by Aldermaston Road to the north east, residential properties to the south and north and open agricultural land to the west. Beyond Aldermaston Road lies Elm Park Garden Centre. <br /> <br />The site is situated approximately 8.4 km (5.2 miles) west of the A33, which provides access to the Junction 6 of the M3 in the south and the M4 Junction 11 in the north. Two primary schools lie to the south west of the hamlet. Further amenities are available in Tadley 2.5km (1.6 miles) north. Facilities include a Co-operative Food, Sainsbury’s, Esso Garage, a doctors surgery and pharmacy, library and several restaurants and public houses. Nearest bus stops can be found on the Aldermaston Road, circa 300 metres (0.2 miles) south of the site. The nearest railway station can be found in Bramley circa 5 km (3 miles) east of the site, which provides direct services to Reading. From Reading station there are frequent direct services to London, the Midlands and the West.
