Lovely location. This attractive two bedroom house is situated in a larger barn conversion and has deceptively spacious accommodation through out. There is parking and outside seating area. Cumbria Wide Local Occupancy Clause applies.

Property Oracle says ..

The property is located in Thornthwaite, Keswick, a village in the Lake District National Park. The surrounding area appears picturesque, with views of the fells visible in the provided photos. The proximity to several primary schools, including Braithwaite Cofe Primary School (2.53km) and Keswick School (6.47km), which has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating, is a positive factor for families. However, information on public transportation is lacking, which could be a drawback for those reliant on public transport. Based on the images, the property seems to be in good condition. The interior is presented well, with modern fixtures and fittings in the kitchen and bathroom. There is no visible evidence of significant repairs or renovations needed. The exterior, a stone building, appears well-maintained. The property has a small paved area, which could be considered a courtyard rather than a garden. While it provides some outdoor space, it is limited in size and lacks the features typically associated with a larger garden. The list price of £274,000 is difficult to definitively assess without square footage data for comparable properties. The available data on nearby properties provides limited information on price per square foot. However, considering the property’s condition, location in a desirable area like the Lake District, and the limited outdoor space, the price seems to be within a reasonable range for the area, although further comparable data would be needed to give a definitive assessment.

Therefore, we give this property 6 / 10. *Disclaimer: This is our option and does constitute a recommendation or financial advice. Do your own research. *
